Model List Endpoints

Returns the models currently available. The same URL returns the OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini format depending on the authentication header.

The currently callable models — narrowed to what the key can call when one is sent. Alongside OpenAI's standard fields, every entry carries Amux extensions such as display_name, aliases, pricing, and providers.

401response

The key is missing or invalid.

Endpoints and response formats#

The authentication header determines the response format; the URL stays the same. Official SDKs send the appropriate header automatically.

Model names#

The id in the list (baseModelId in the Gemini format) is the bare name, that is, the model name without the vendor prefix, such as claude-opus-5. Relay services that sync this list can merge it with same-named models from other upstreams without per-model mapping.

The canonical ID with the vendor prefix, such as anthropic/claude-opus-5, is also accepted and is provided in canonical_id (canonicalId in the Gemini format) and aliases. For models without a bare name, id is the canonical ID.

The model field in responses always returns the canonical ID, regardless of the name used in the request.

Authentication#

These endpoints do not require authentication. With a valid key, only the models that key can call are returned, priced with the account's discounts. An invalid key is treated as unauthenticated, and all models are returned.
